Beech Bonanza Fuel Level Senders

Beech Bonanza Fuel Level

CiES is rapidly expanding the number of aircraft that can utilize our Fuel Level Sender technology.   Today we delivered the first set of Beech Bonanza / Debonair fuel level senders.

This set replaces the Beech original equipment Leigh senders still found in the aircraft.   The old senders had long ago given up on providing accurate fuel level.

These new fuel level sender utilize non contact, wear free magnetic field technology to locate the float in the tank.  The technology found in CiES Senders is similar to that in your cell phone for it's compass operation.  But instead of pointing North in the compass example, the sensor in the CiES Sender points to the float and to an accuracy less than a 1/4 of a degree.  It does this accurately and repeatably.  You trust your compass to always point North - you'll trust this sender to always tell you how much fuel is in the tank.

The old rusty senders depicted in the pictures utilized continuous wearing potentiometers typically found in legacy General Aviation fuel tanks.

Potentiometer senders have an in aircraft life of approx. 10 to 12 years before replacement or rebuild.

You should'nt fly with fuel level senders that are 30 to 40 years past their functional life, Now you don't have to

CiES Fuel Level Senders for Jet Aircraft

Series Production For Jet Senders

This week we are producing multiple shipsets for a production jet aircraft.  The use of our technology on jet aircraft is in keeping with the reliability, simplicity and accuracy of our aircraft fuel level sensing solutions.  These units can output fuel level and local fuel temperature.

The CiES Fuel Level System solution does not rely on complex electronics to limit the energy in the fuel tank.  We simply keep the electronics out of the fuel environment.

The CiES Fuel Level System does not have to correct for fuel temperature or entrained air.  We simply measure the position of the fuel surface, and we measure it to an repeatable accuracy of 0.03 in.  In all temperatures and under all aircraft conditions.

The CiES Fuel Level System does not require a summing or conversion box all calculations for summing and output conversion are handled internally to the unit.

The CiES Fuel Level System can output a variety of formats compatible with most aircraft, from the same internal system.

This sophisticated Fuel Level System  is just as happy providing accurate fuel level in any class of aircraft.

We recently completed a set of fuel senders with the same technological advancements for a 1938 Fairchild 24.

Reliability and Continuous Improvement - CiES

Non-Contact Fuel Level Measurement

Recently we ran across an article in the Cirrus Owners Magazine  - Cirrus Pilot

The article talks about the Continuous Improvement Process that Cirrus Aircraft utilizes in its aircraft design and production to improve reliability.

This article it discusses the complete paradigm change CiES made to aircraft fuel level measurement and Cirrus Aircraft's customer satisfaction with our non-contact fuel measurement technology.

As the article states - CiES Brought a Whole New Approach to Aircraft Fuel Level.

An approach that changed fuel level reliability, so significantly, that it is no longer necessary to question your aircraft fuel level indication.

Turboprop Fuel Level Indication

TURBOPROP FUEL QUANTITY INDICATION

We are consistently being tapped by new product development teams in aviation for Turboprop fuel level indication.

Aircraft and Rotorcraft Manufacturers are finding that CiES provides high quality fuel quantity indication systems.
Fuel Quantity Suite - Temperature Compensation - Automatic Switching

Our system is so accurate that we provide fuel quantity switching for single engine aircraft that utilizes fuel tank quantity as the only sensor system utilized to balance fuel tanks.   That's right - no more switching tanks on the 1/2 hour, it is now accomplished automatically on many of the platforms we are now serving.

DIGITAL FUEL LEVEL

Our digital fuel level technology utilizes modern sensors to detect fuel level or ullage boundary and output the either the native digital information or convert the digital signal to an analog output for use in legacy aircraft platforms.  Our consistent high quality performance indicates that our signal is not degraded with fuel type, fuel contamination, fuel temperature or entrained air.

In fact we accomplish this without any electronics in the fuel volume.

SIMPLE SYSTEM - HIGH QUALITY

The high technology sensor combined with a simple mechanical system is patented by CiES for measuring fuel level.   Our demonstrated quality output, illustrates our effectiveness in fuel measurement.

UNCOMMON VALUE

The fact that our fuel indication system is finding its way onto so many new Jet A platforms shows that CiES offers an uncommon value in aviation.

The CiES fuel quantity solution represents both a higher quality and a more cost effective solution than  traditional Jet A fuel quantity systems  --- We are worth looking into.
